we have another shoot in mind to start the year 2010. ^_^

since the group's name is M.A.F.I.A [Manga and Anime Fan's Indg. Assoc.], we decided to make a mafia themed shoot with real cosplayers around. ^_^ but sadly.... it's not KHR. i'm sorry. but it's MAFIA-themed so it'll be fun.

so... let's start

8 characters were established for this shoot.

=the bad ass gunner who loves pink and cigarettes [Ocean]
=the bad ass ultra hot gunner [mai]
=the cute blondie who carries her shotgun everywhere [Donjie]
=her twin brother who has twin pistols [Hana]

there ^_^


these people will be paired up... so we have four pairs all in all.

accessories:

we'll be using two japanese swords for the two ninjas. we have an almost-real-but-cannot-kill sword. the twins will have to wear blonde wigs to emphasize their cuteness. they have bad ass guns to amplify the adrenaline ^_^
chains, coats, blacks and rings are needed for the costumes.

we already analyzed the characters and the costumes.
don't worry.

since we've encountered you guys during cons.. we more or less have the grasp of what you can wear. ^_^ i hope you guys are okay with the concept. just email me or commet on my DA if you agree or disagree on the concept.

i would appreciate it if you'll comment on my multiply or DA site cuz i hardly go online on LJ.

btw, we have no problem on schedules. we adjust to the models' schedules.... just inform us when you're available/...

we didn't get to go inside the venue itself. we were outside just like all the other cosplayers who came in late.

tickets were sold out and the venue cannot accomodate the crowd that came. but even if we're outside, we had fun. ^_^

there were many, many, many, many, and i mean many cosplayers...... ^_^

some of my favorite cosplayers were stuck outside so i'm kinda happy even though it was freakin' hot.

we were also hunting for male models for our next shoot in january... and fortunately....we found one....

but before that... we have a christmas shoot to end this wonderful year....

[it was one hell of a con]

-we were worried about the venue at first....the idea of getting lost was all over our heads... but we got over it when we arrived. the venue was great but not better than MOA's SMX convention center. the area was cold so cosplayer didnt have any problem... ^_^

i was.... wearing this purple wig that nobody knows what character it is. >.< hahahaha

i was with donjie, patti, rio-san and ed ....

it was fun...

but the person i was looking for wasn't around so i was disappointed. i really wanted to see him but he wasn't around :(

the corwd was somewhat different but familiar faces came popping up when it stsrted to get dark. there were ver few booths so i didn't get to buy that much accessories.... too bad

November 8, 2009 @ SM MOA SMX Convention center

From my opinion, I would say that the event was a big success [applause]. The venue was great and there were many cute cosplayers around. The booths were also great; there were lots of anime and cute stuff that you can see and buy. Some of my favourite cosplayers and friends were around but majority of them couldn’t come because MOA was just too far.

I went there with my band mates, in Donjie’s maid outfit [thank you Donjie].then I was dragged into the maid café; but luckily they figured out I wasn’t a maid after all; I was just a maid [wtf?! I don’t get it].

Anyways~

I would also like to take this opportunity to say some things. I am frustrated; I hope you wouldn’t mind if I rant all I want. After all, this is my blog.

Okay.

First of all, I would like to apologize to my band mates. I gave my best but it wasn’t good enough. I only attended band practice for two days so I kinda feel you sacrificed more time that I did. I am sorry.

I watched our video in my camera and thought it was horrible. The vocals didn’t work out. I was sad; because I looked pathetic when everyone else looked awesome.

Now I am drowned in self-pity and my throat is sick. I have freakin’ sore throat and it’s kinda severe.

Second, I thank all the people who came and bothered to watch us; although I sucked hard, you were still there. I thank you.

Third, I would like to say thank you to Leo-san. He praised us until the end and that made me happy. I knew I wasn’t good enough and I kinda felt that my band mates needed someone even more talented than I am.

I wanted to quit when I got off the stage but I can’t. Thank you. And I’m sorry.

You may think it is stupid of me to pity myself like this; I just want all of you to know I am just being honest to myself.

I will work hard; I will enrol myself to learn more singing; to be more talented. Maybe I could take up guitar lessons; just so I can make myself feel better. I sucked hard and I am sad about it.

I was lame out there; and I had the guts to invite people to watch me. I am so stupid.

I am sorry I wasn’t good enough for you guys. Even though I am the one who wanted this band to be formed; I can’t do anything. You always worked hard.

Don’t get me wrong.

I love our band; it’s one of the most important things I have. That’s why I can’t bear to see it suck. L [sigh]

Right now…

I need to rest my voice. Because if I don’t, I might not be able to sing again. I hope you guys understand. I won’t quit; but let me fix myself before I join you again. After some time, I’ll regain my voice and become better.

COSMANIA was an event with a red tag on mah schedule. I was waiting for it, we were waiting for it, and everyon'es waiting for it - and let me tell you something.... it was OOOSSSMMM!!!!!
It was one of the awsomest cons evaarrr. [alost all cons are awsome]
So many cosplayers... Too bad I didn't meet Jin or Alex-chan or Azrien.... but I got the chance to hug noctis [christian ... you looked awsome and hawt] and cassie [i'm so glad we saw you just before we're about to leave]. hahahahahah My clothes weren't that extravagant. I was partially, and I mean partially wearing normal clothes lol. ^_^
thanks to donjie for the red skirt although it was too freakin' short, It was totally kawaiiii.
I didn't really cosplay cosplay.... but i did mah friends' make up ^_^ I liked Anya's makeup the best cuz it didn't fade away lol. ^_^

denzeru, sai, jecosan and romi-chan was also there. Claa was also there ^ v ^ lol i saw many old friends ^_^ at the con and it made me happy. Although i didn't see Nobu-san and Ahmed-san, I saw Jelani and Don-sama.
OMG there was a baiken [guilty gear[ cosplayer that was soooo awsome!!!!!

I was suppossed to join the catwalk thingy but i didn't bother to register. I didn't even go inside the venue that much cuz it was too crowded and i had to be with Mara and i kinda felt Mara didn't like the inside >o<
her clothes were awsome BTW, lol I love her tail coat....

M.A.F.I.A was also there.... but we didn't get to enjoy the con together cuz I was with Team ichigo Pocky. but it was still fun cuz we always bump unto each other lol. How I wished Mao was there lol.

the day ended with burning feet, aching bodies and ear-reaching smiles. even though we're all super freaking tired, we were happy cuz we cosplayed, met our friends, made new friends and stalked our crushes lol. and the whole thing was a big big success.....

Team Pocky
Sir Raymund from CSCentral was the one who came up with the team name. It’s cute and I really like it. After all, even though we go to conventions dressed up together, we didn’t really have an official name. And we don’t really have official members. We’re all friends so we go together. But the most unique event we went to is Komikon. It was shocking because it was the first time we got so much attention.
Come to think of it, we had the essentials of a “moe” person that you can find in various series.

All we need is a very super ultra mega cute School girl
Or a person in a mini-skirt kimono ^__^
Hahha. Although I admit, I’m not really the “cute” type that boys would go all over. But I’’m very proud of my dress because I was the one who designed it ^__^
I wish I had sewing powers so I can make more dresses, but I guess, I’m just too lazy to make another one.

After Komikon, I had so many designs in my mind that I want Team Pocky to wear.
Maybe we can wear the same maid outfits for the next events to come ^_^ only, each person has a customized blouse to project her own personality. And maybe, for future events to come, Team pocky can wear Gothic Lolita dresses in different colours but with one specific design.
We can also design our own School Girl outfits ^_^
I’m so excited. I want a new dress already.
Also, I hope Team Pocky has an official uniform ^_^ and maybe we can make a giant Pocky box to parade around. \(>o<)/
Kyaa!~ Maybe with this, we can get famous hahaha. I’m not really the type of cosplayer who can easily pull of my chosen character. So I choose Lolita dresses as an alternative.
I hope Team Pocky will be known even more and I hope we can be successful. hahahaha

Summer Vacation is almost over *teary eyes*
I had soooo much fun this summer. Particularly our get together times ^_^. This summer was the best summer so far. I hope na there are more summer to look forward to.
Summer Conventions were a blast!!~ I know because I used to go to cons alone. It was nice to have a group around. Especially when all of you are in cosplay. ^_^ It was so much fun.
My first cosplay attempt to (in public) was at Ozine ’09. It was sooooo fun and exciting. Hahaha. It turned out pretty well. ^_^
In Shizen, I wasn’t really in cosplay. >_< but it was still sooo much fun. I got a picture with gundam-san!!!~ nyahahahahahouses was also sooo much fun.
My first crosplay (a girl cosplaying as a boy) was at the SM Cyberzone thingy. ^_^ Although I didn’t really prepare for that one, the Katana was super awesome..... *Thank you My senpais!!*

Greenhills, Mara’s house, drop-by at my house, Art lessons, Band practices, Cosplay, Sleepovers. Everything was worth going to. And I made sure I didn’t miss anything. After all, this is my last summer as a high school student. I was so glad I had fun.

we had fun cosplaying. We had so much fun. Komikon was filled with filipino artists an dyou can see masterpieces being sold everywhere. haha. Sir Wil Tortosa (one of my idols) was also there but I wasn't able to see him at all.

Also, I want to thank Sir Raymund from CSCentral for the pocky he gave us. yay!! Because of him, we were able to pull off cute poses with our costumes and pocky on our mouth ^_^
